You can't go to school

I hear the sounds of crying and arguing.

Braden says to Landon, "You can't go to school cause you can't touch your ear. When you're six or when you can touch your ear, than you can go to school."

"And who says that?" I ask.

"Zach and Allison," was the reply.

I don't know if that holds true or not. I do remember that little ones cannot usually do this until about the time they should start school or 5 to 6 years of age, at least that held true for our family. I vaguely remember our older children's teacher saying this. I tried to do a search but couldn't come up with any proof of this being true.

Needless to say, Landon was very very upset that he could not touch his ear like Braden and the thought of him not being able to go to school crushed his little heart. All the while his older brother was so happy about school starting. You see, his Mama just ordered some books for him and is he ever excited!
