How lovely is the purifying Word of God. It is a delight and we need to be that fragrance to the world to draw people to Jesus. Like the song we sang tonight 'And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love.'
We've been studying Romans 1 and 2 in Bible school. One question was, 'Are Christians today ever like the Jews Paul describes in Romans 2:17-24? If so, what is Paul's message to them?' The answer is yes. We who know the Law dishonor God when we break the Law by careless neglect or openly breaking it. The Word of God is blasphemed when we know or boast about the Law, but don't keep it.
We need to be circumcised of the heart. Romans 2:25-29 God is not looking for those who cut their bodies in actual circumcision, but He is looking for those with changed hearts and minds. A person with that kind of change will praise God and not men.

Another peek of this lovely bouquet in the mirrored reflection.

The last four blooms have finally opened up, though the other lilies have turned brown and ugly and the leaves have turned yellow.
Makes me think of the verse in Isaiah 40:8
"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the Word of our God shall stand for ever."
How quickly those blooms fade. How fleeting are the moments we have on this earth. Time does not stand still.
Too many times I do not use time wisely.
May God help me to have more passion for him. We were created or fashioned4HisGlory. We were created to worship Him.
And that is my goal. To bring God glory in everything I do.
The last bud opened and now again we take the orange 'thingys' off.
One of my friends told me to take them off and the lily will last longer.
They look so pretty with the orange anthers.
The anther is the pollen. But alas, it stains and Landon just looks at his hands. Braden helps him rub it on his shirt.
There, that's the easy way of washing hands or using a napkin, just rub it on your shirt!
Enjoying the beauty of daisies. Landon frequently picks some for me from our flower garden. He LOVES to bring Mama some flowers and then loves that hug and kiss and 'thank you' he receives with each time he gives flowers.
What gorgeous colors God has created!
I love little old and colorful jars.
The clear one I picked up at a junk yard in Arkansas.
There is a pile of old glass and 'just junk' in our woods where we've been finding treasures.
