This CD has a beautiful compilation of songs with some of our favorite singers including Chris Tomlin. I think all of ya'll should get your own copy. It is wonderful music for the car, for your baby to fall asleep to, and I can't wait to purchase one for our older children because they love to listen to music when falling asleep. It's also soothing for adults. Our youngest was fighting fears at night. Time and again we would pray with him to trust Jesus and not be scared. Listening to songs and music was the end of nighttime fears. Praise God. Music is such a powerful thing and I thank the Lord for this beautiful gift He has created!
CISTERNS AND FOUNTAINS:
We were blessed today with the sermon with Jeremiah 2 being the main Scripture. Are we busy doing things that have no value? You can buy a lot of things, but there's one thing you can't buy and that is time. When time is spent, it's spent. No matter how hard you try, you can't buy it back. How many of us are living with a broken down cistern (list one)? Jesus offers us the fountain of life list two). Compare number one on list one with number one on list two.
DO YOU HAVE THE BROKEN DOWN CISTERN OF:
- strife and drama
- anger and resentment
- bondage and slavery
- constant involvement
- sin
- accumulation
- ambition
- friendship of the world
JESUS OFFERS YOU THE FOUNTAIN OF:
- peace
- forgiveness

- rest and quiet - Mark 1:35, Mark 14:32
- holiness and fulfillment

The friendship of the world is enmity with God. We may lose friends and family. But how much better to have that intimate relationship with God!
These broken cisterns can be prisons in our lives. Jeremiah in prison was sinking down in the mire. That's what the prison of sin does to us. God can bring us out of the mire and broken cisterns in our lives.
May we yolk up with Christ and lead a lifestyle that pleases Him. Help us to do right and bring You glory for You are worthy.
