We had a lovely morning visit. The baby was feeling a bit better. Last night he was not very happy and could hardly settle down. But his mama said he had a good night. The girls played piano and guitar which was absolutely beautiful. There's something about singing and music that is an awesome way to praise the Lord. I just love it!
Also, photography was a big subject. C learned a lot online by studying about cameras and settings. Amber's been interested in photographer, but this conversation inspired her to learn more. I know she will succeed and do far better than her mama who basically points and shoots. I can't wait for her to teach me. I never understood that aperture stuff. But I do love take manual photos.
Anyway, here is the group of lovely young ladies. That's exactly what they are. I ♥ them. It's great learning from each other.
And here are the handsome/cute group of travelers who were on their way to visit family. And no, their Daddy wasn't along, but they were already missing him five minutes after they left home! Can you tell he has their hearts? How awesome!
The well drillers came back and finished today. We are pleased with the results, although we'll have to work hard to pay it off. They dug 200 feet and we have 20 gallons per minute. We are very blessed! Our friend called it lucky as you can soon have $20K in a well. We had prayed about it, and God answered in a beautiful way! How can I keep from singing Your praise?
The whole thing was a learning experience for Braden. Zach remembers the well being dug at our other house. B made himself at home with the men outside and they encouraged him to wear earplugs as the whole apparatus was loud. The things didn't want to stay in his little ears. It was a teachable moment.
I know you can't forever worry about bad guys and the harm they can do to your children and I am absolutely not suggesting these people were that type. When can you trust people and when can't you? However, the thought crossed my mind so I simply asked the Lord to place a hedge of protection around the boys as they interacted. And you know, God is so faithful. He answered that prayer, too.
In zooming up the photo, I gathered they treated him like a little man. They respected him. Plus our good friend was here during most of the drilling and I just didn't worry about it. B had a great time watching them work.
