Allison's 1st piano recital

Once again it's springtime and the trees are blooming. It's always a lovely time of year. This season has been exceptionally warm with all the pretties blooming early.

We enjoyed the evening with Allison's first piano recital, nothing formal as you can tell. It's great getting together and meeting new people. Some of the parents we met at the violin recital. Allison did great, but she messed up one time. Nanny's playing covered up the mistake. I still prefer them playing alone because our family all agreed that the teacher's playing overpowered the others. But it was her house and the recital was done the way she liked it, so we shan't complain.

She again served pizza and drinks.

The guitar players were also there and it was good to hear some good finger picking. Zach's wanting to learn to play. I love the interest of music our children have!
