Tent camping in the living room

I don't know where I was last night, but I only learned this morning of Haiti's 7.0 magnitude earthquake.

Interesting how on Sunday we heard about the signs of the times. Matthew tells us that there will be divers earthquakes. The book of Luke tells us there will be great earthquakes. This one was a big one.

So many suffering people. These are some of the poorest people in the world, their country at #149 in the 180 countries. These people already had nothing. But we know that God is in control. Meanwhile, we are called to pray even more.

This is a very familiar scene in our living room of late. Anything to pass the winter when there's not a whole lot to do outside except play in the disappearing snow.

They tried to take a nap in here until Braden popped his head out.....

...and had to stretch from the cramped 'bed'.

Once more they tried to sleep, but they were hot and cramped.

Finally, they rested on the couches.
