Ice storm

This morning we woke up to this! It was foggy and cloudy all morning. So the ice lingered on the trees and grass. It dripped little by little.

By 11:00 A.M., the world outside still looked like this.

The mud increased and we wonder if it won't be gone until spring. *smile*

It makes our vehicle VERY messy. But we have a warm house, water, food, just loads of benefits from God.

12:30 P.M. - the scenery was still lovely.

Finally, by 2:36 P.M. most of the ice was gone. Notice it melted from the grass to the tops of the trees. It was neat to see and discuss science.

We had a youth ralley at church ages from infants to 80 years+. It started at 7:00 PM and lasted till midnight. And in no way did it seem that long. There were maybe about 15 churches represented and each one sang. We sang for 3 hours and if you know me, that's my cup of tea. I LOVE singing and hearing others talents of singing and playing. Then there was a sermon - some good preaching! And lots of confessions afterward.

The loss of love produces criticism.

Jesus wants first place in your worship and in your life.

You say you're not emotional in church. Well, bring me a hammer and I'll hit your thumb! You still saying you're not emotional? But yet what are you doing at the football game? Or you're thinking, I wish the preacher would hurry up so I can eat lunch. You're only emotional where you want to be emotional! Jesus wants first place in your life!!! What's the first thing you think about when you wake up? the chaos in the world or Obama, yo mama. It should be Jesus!

Jesus is a gentleman and will NEVER force Himself upon you. All He does is hand you His Word, and He expects you to believe it. Jesus Christ deserves our praise. All that we are, He wants.

If we preachers don't tell you what to do, who's fault is it? the preacher's

It's likened to a mother having a baby. The head comes out first. The preachers have to take the heat. Many pastors fail to point their congregation to Christ. They don't want to take the heat. There are some doing God's will. Praise God.

How did the devil creep into the churches and bring this west coast Hollywood hell hole? He's invaded the United States and the churches with Hollywood. Men can't tell women nothing.

Technology is neutral, but if you've got the Spirit of God in you, you won't feed on filth!

If you let your daughters dress like a trash pile, they will attrack flies.

Every one minute and 45 seconds, someone commits suicide. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death in college. With every suicide, 50-75 more try. They look at what they've done and hate themselves! Parents, we've failed. We're out with Hollywood and education rather than reading the Word of God.

Sadly, Jesus sits in the corner with dirty feet. How can we treat Him like that? That's why this horrible gloom is over the world. How did the devil invade the message? He came through Hollywood and T.V. Let's adopt the 'shotgun theology'. Take a gun and blow it apart. Get away from the garbage. The destroying angel found an inlet in our life.

Let's be like Daniel and purpose not to defile ourselves.
