Allison woke up and said she didn't sleep well during the night because her wrist hurt!
At 8:30 I made an appointment to see the doctor. I couldn't get in until 3 p.m.
Amber went sliding again with her friends. They have loaned us their small keyboard until we pick up the one we bought over ebay in PA. Amber also car pooled with them to the music lessons. Allison was VERY disappointed to miss paino!
By 3:00 I was doubting my decision of taking her to the doctor. The swelling went down considerably and she could move the wrist from left to right much better than she could this morning. We kept the appointment, just for peace of mind. We spent almost 2 hours there, mostly waiting.
The doctor felt around and had Alllison do all kinds of movement with her wrist. She gave us 2 options: be conservative and wait a week to see how her wrist is, or take an x-ray.
We chose to wait. And really, that's what our doctor would have done. She stated we need to protect her ovaries and she doesn't like to x-ray unless she positively has to. I love people like that for doctors. She is great!
Allison wasn't even told to wrap it. It was a minor sprain, but enough to keep her from writing out her math problems.
God is good!
