The worst weekend to travel

Sunday we heard an interesting sermon on the prodigal son.

We had a delicious lunch at the home. Paul was on duty so he was to help the cottage boys with their food.

The afternoon was warm and lovely. And PERFECT for some more portraits.

We enjoyed the scenery on our way home.

This house reminded me of the song, "Mansion on the Hilltop". The house is surrounded by vineyards.

It was getting too dark to be snapping photos, but I liked this old barn and the hay stacked inside.

Traffic was very heavy!!! It was like Christmas lights all the way up and down. And it was bumper to bumper and creeping. We finally exited and took some country roads home.

God kept us safe in traveling home for which we are thankful. We had seen several accidents. One can't be too careful while behind the wheel.
