"Thank Heaven For Kids"
Song by Richard Klender
Who'd remind me about McDonalds, ice cream, and pizza pie
Without the sunny smiling faces, with those great big cartoon eyes
There'd be no birthday parties, no candy canes, or clowns
No there would be no happiness without children all around.
Chorus:
Thank heaven for kids, short, fat, thin, or tall
In a rainbow full of colors, thank heaven for them all
Thank heaven for kids, so innocent and true
The answers for tomorrow are in you.
Who'd let me read a story, or pretend I was a kite
Who'd let me say their prayers, and tuck 'em in at night
Who could watch the same old video a thousand jillion times
And ask the greatest questions that would boggle any mind.
Tag:
Who would hold my hand on the roller coaster ride
And when the whole world turns against me
Who was always by my side.

You may be asking about Braden and wondering how he is feeling. The lumps are gone. He is healed. The doctor wasn't sure about Lyme's when she diagnosed him, but she treated it as that. He certainly had the Lyme's symptoms before going on antibiotics. He had joint pains and swollen lymph nodes.
God is the healer, for that we are grateful and we are confident! We could ask a zillion questions of whether or not it really was Lyme's. Why question? We CHOOSE to say that God healed Braden, we have no better answer. All glory and praise to our precious Father in heaven who loves us with all compassion. We are indeed grateful!
The beauty of fall colors on this 27th day in October. Now most of the trees are bare, except for some late rich scarlet colors.
Zach was having a great time with the four wheeler gathering up the leftover pumpkins and gourds in our field that the farmer just finished discing. He came with this big pile at the end of last month. Am I thankful for this child? Absolutely! He made me smile.
The two youngest boys spent hours coloring the big Pooh coloring book. We took a break from the crayons and pencil crayons and used paint for a change. They LOVED it!
And Landon declared, "It's fun, Mama. Good idea."
