Studying God's Word

I've been studying God's Word a lot lately. None of us can study too much and I have failed miserably in the past. Questions we've been asked have caused us to search the Bible for answers. It's been really good for us. Challenging, yes, but this time it's our turn to answer rather than depending on our parents or friends to answer for us.

Books I've been reading are listed below and it is very comforting to note that all come together in agreement to God's Word. "In the multitude of counsellors there is safety." Proverbs 11:14

John 3:16,17 - You have a CHOICE! Choose life!

How can anyone not believe in the eternal existance of hell? Read God's Word and take it for what it says. Learn from men who have been in hell.

God allowed Bill Wiese to experience hell to warn us and to draw attention to God's Word on the subject (page 98). If you have any questions about hell, read his book 23 Minutes in Hell. You don't have to believe Bill's story if you don't want to, but he will take you to the Scriptures over and over again (page 88). The Bible confirms what Bill saw! God gave him this message, "TELL THEM I AM COMING VERY, VERY SOON!"

In today's world, there are MANY false prophets. Read Jude 4 and 2 Peter. Don't accept this post, anyone's website or blog as Bible. Take ONLY the Word of God! It's the only safe source.

Nowadays, people take the Scriptures to mean anything THEY WANT IT TO SAY! It can be confusing. Satan is roaming the earth as a roaring lion and will try to deceive the very elect. May God help us with the aid of the Holy Spirit to discern truth from error.

Tuesday and Wednesday the scholars and I sat down and listened to a series of messages on Christian Headship and Authority by Steve Stutzman. We were encouraged and educated. There's some real history here.
