John and Sadie Esh family

My Dad's cousin John Esh and part of his family died this morning when a semi truck crossed into their lane.  I called my Dad to let him know and he's been in total shock as many others who knew the family are. God is in control. He makes no mistakes. It reminds all of us who are yet alive to be ready for Jesus when He comes for you and me. It could be any hour day or night.

My friend wrote a lot of this info on her facebook and I want to give her 100% credit.

Half of a family of 14 is gone. John and Sadie Esh had 12 children, 7 children are left. Those who died in the accident was John and Sadie Esh, John's son Leroy and wife Naomi (Peight) Esh and one child, John's daughters, Rose, Anna, and Rachel Esh, Rachel's fiance Joel Gingerich, all from Burkesville KY. Ashley Kramer from Franklin Ky area also died in the accident. The truck driver also died.

Their son Johnny Esh had gone on to Glory a few years ago when a snowmobile accident claimed his life.

In December the Eshes had a house fire, it burned the house to the ground. The church Brethren helped them build a brand new house.

The Eshes sing a beautiful song found on YouTube.

Just happened on your blog searching for more information. Blessings to you and my you be a witness to many others who may also look for information about this tragedy. I Live in mid NE and am Mennonite also. My daughter is in England with Radical Journey during this year. Will be praying for the witness for Jesus in this time. Many will be looking to the community of faith of the Mennonites around the extended families affected by these deaths. Jesus is Lord. He is risen.
