I have been having trouble with publishing my blog exactly as I have it typed out. The lines and spaces want to run together and blogger doesn't keep the layout. Frustrating!
We have this old house and naturally, we have old doors. Normally, that's not a problem unless it's the master bedroom door. This door doesn't have a lock, and so far we haven't succeeded very well in training our children to knock and WAIT before entering the room. We've mastered the knocking part.
So while dressing this morning, our youngest knocked and proceeded to enter.
"Stay out!", I hollered.
"Well, I'm just getting my coloring page," Landon replied.
"You need to wait till Mommy gets dressed."
.......PAUSE......
"Mommy, I see you! I can see you through the peek hole."
I had completely forgotten about that. Children tend to remember these details better than we do. So I asked him what he saw. He said, "I see your arm." Great. If he thinks my leg is my arm, that's just o.k. with me.
Braden is not feeling well again, today. Yesterday we were at the library and when he got off his chair, he complained about his leg hurting. Twice last night he cried and cried with pain in his calf area. Are these growing pains or Lyme's?
I'm not sure what to expect anymore with him.
He also woke with fever and a third infected lymph node. His little body is fighting something.
The poor little guy. I would take his place in a heartbeat!
Landon piled him with pillows and continued to 'read' to him. Then they both enjoyed working on a sticker book, until Braden once more needed to lie down and rest.
Zach is finally on the game thing to get his schooling done, at least the reading part. He finished Pocahontas and read this book in one day. He is one day behind schedule, but he's getting the hang of it.
But can we persuade him to keep the same zest in his Wordly Wise and Math?
I picked up the free magazine Nature's Place at Food Lion and leafed through it and noticed this neat creativity. Now I don't glory in skeletons. But I love this idea!
Psalm
139:14
I will praise
thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are they works; and
that my soul knoweth right well.
Yes, the Lord created us beautifully, even our skeletons. Satan just wants to make everything ugly that God made lovely. So I am praising God for the wonder of the human body. Yes, he made our skeletons lovely!

Hope Braden is feeling better soon!
That idea is a perfect for lunch when you learn about the body in your school work.
