Spelt bread

Tonight I tried my first hand at baking spelt bread. We'll see how it all turns out.

I do believe there is an art to baking this bread. The texture of the flour is totally different than wheat and the smell is different when baking. Most people have described the bread as sweet and nutty and that's exactly what I smell.

I am so intrigued by this bread, though I have never tasted it. I l.o.v.e. working with dough. So this is right up my alley. Below are some great links:

www.thenewhomemaker.com - I tried this recipe, but in pulling it out of the oven I believe I got it too dry. I watched the video on bread topia AFTER I mixed the dough. Bad mistake.
