GMO

I've been reading a lot lately. GMO stands for genetically modified organisms. And I guess I'm behind times when it comes to all the foods that are bad for you. The article in the March-April 2010 issue of No Greater Joy startled me. On the other hand, I'm not totally ready to change our family's diet, knowing that it would drive me crazy to check out all the ingredients on everything I buy. I do have friends that do that. That's awesome. Maybe I'll get to that stage one day. All I can say is to use moderation in the foods that aren't good for you.

I am saddened that people want to change plants. Why can't be they be satisfied with what God said was very good? He made everything perfect. Somehow people think they can do a better job than God and are majorly screwing up.

We do live in a fallen world. It is desperately wicked. We were shopping on Monday and I was appalled by how brazen people are in their attire and store advertisements. No longer is soft porn a hidden thing, it's out in the open and I don't like exposing our young boys to that kind of stuff. But sadly, it's at the mall, at the gas stations, even in the hunting magazine Outdoor Life, everywhere, and people could care less how they dress. Or do they?

There are many many lonely and hurting people. Following the world and it's fashions brings no peace. Only the Lord Jesus Christ can give you peace. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin.

God must weep at the apostasy of His creation. We surely are living in the last days. There are false prophets in the form of religion. We had better know what God's Word says, lest we be deceived.
